Rowdy
I brought Rowdy home today. Wow, Rowdy and I flew out of Missoula at 6:00 a.m. this morning. He never made a sound the whole trip; Through the TSA line, while we were waiting to board the plan or during the trip from Missoula to Montana.

My family here in Minnesota are already in love with his calm nature and ability to learn. Thank you Rueben, Rachel and Carrie for this extraordinary experience. Rowdy is a delight.

We visited the farm to meet the puppies and learn more about them, but we got so swept up we simply took one home (still knowing very little, since we failed to ask!)

What we learned was that our adoptee, Martin, was the sweetest and most easily trainable little guy. He’s obedient, healthy, well tempered, and loves everyone in our household (even the cats!)

He’s made best buds with our youngest cat and my daughter.

The family running this business are down to earth and seem like gentle and good people. Thanks for allowing us to adopt one of your puppies! We love him greatly.

We feel so lucky to have found Rustic Barn Kennels! We are also so happy to have had the opportunity to visit Rueben, Rachel, and Cari at their farm in St. Ignatius. They have a beautiful farm where the dogs and puppies are so well-cared for and loved by their family. They perfectly paired our Corgi, Major, with the needs of our family. He is the perfect addition to our family and we would happily get another puppy from them in the future! We would also recommend them to anyone looking for a new family member.

Rueben and Rachel are the sweetest and I couldn't be more pleased with my corgi pup Lambchop. He is a friendly and fearless little guy with an enormous personality. I don't know if I just got lucky or if Rueben and Rachel have magical puppies but this little champ was already potty trained when I brought him home at 8 weeks old. My older lab wasn't happy with me for bringing home a puppy at first, but this kid corgi is so cute and endearing that even she has fallen in love with him. He follows her everywhere, even swimming in the river! Lambchop has received a clean bill of health from my vet and has become an amazing addition to our family. I would recommend Rustic Barn Kennels with the highest regard. Thanks Reuben and Rachel!!!

My partner and I adopted Appa (litter name Joel) and he is the most friendly, intelligent, and loving puppy. He’s about five months old now and he’s doing great on potty training, he’s super good motivated, and the picture of health. He loves everyone and he is constantly the highlight of people’s day for those that meet him. He’s also the most gorgeous looking dude around haha!

During the process of picking him up, we were caught in a snow storm and unable to get him from Montana. Reuben worked so quickly to help find a driver to have Appa come to us, and we are forever grateful for that kindness. Reuben and Rachel are super responsible and always made sure to get back to us in a timely manner. They had tons of advice for us, too!

Yoda is now 18 wks old, so I thought it high time to write a short review. First, Reuben and Rachel were a pleasure to work with and was very receptive in trying to meet my particular preferences in a puppy. Their kennel is clean and the dogs are well taken care of. Yoda has been a great pup. He has been a handful as a young pup, but is really starting to come into his own. He loves our daily walks and loves his senior sister (an aging husky), who has been very tolerant his his antics. Highly recommend this kennel for anyone looking for a corgi.

Molly is an Amazing Smart and Loving puppy.

Little Rupert has been a great addition to the family. Covid-19 made transporting him from Montana to Massachusetts unconventional and more difficult then during “normal” conditions BUT great and frequent communication from the Yoders ensured Rupert was able to travel and arrive to his new home safely.
